UpInches – Comprehensive Warranty Policy
This warranty is issued by Arun Tiles Square, parent company of UpInches, and applies exclusively to CP-Fitting and Kitchen Sinks purchased through authorized dealers, outlets, or the official UpInches website.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser, at the original installation site, and is non-transferable.
1. Warranty Coverage & Duration
The warranty begins from the date of invoice. Coverage varies by product component:
Finish warranty does not apply to deterioration caused by hard water, abrasive/acidic cleaners, corrosive chemicals, or improper maintenance.
FREE SPARE PART Warranty for covered components.
2. Warranty Registration

Products must be registered within 14 days of purchase at upinches.com/warranty.

Registration requires:

Valid proof of purchase (invoice).
-
Registered mobile number (OTP verified).
-
Product details (model, dealer/store, installation address).
-
3. Warranty Claim Process
To initiate a claim, the customer must provide:
-
Invoice copy.
-
Registered mobile number.
-
Photos/videos clearly showing the defect.
Process Flow:

Claim submitted via website, email, or WhatsApp.
-
Response within 24–72 hours. (1-3 Working Days).
-
Remote troubleshooting via voice/video call by UpInches support team.

UpInches only provides replacements for defective parts/products under warranty; refunds will not be issued if a customer refuses a replacement.

If a product requires a full replacement, the same model will be provided. If the model is discontinued, a product of equivalent value at the time of purchase will be offered.

Defective parts/products will be shipped via courier to the customer, and the faulty item is to be shipped by the customer to the service hub.
Important Note:

UpInches does not provide on-site service.

Removal, reinstallation, and plumbing services are the responsibility of the customer.

Our technical team will provide remote assistance through phone/video calls but no technician will visit the premises.
4. Replacement Terms

Only defective parts/products are covered.
-
Refunds are not provided under warranty claims.

The decision to repair or replace lies solely with UpInches.
-
If the product/model is discontinued, a comparable product of equal value at the time of purchase will be provided.

All replaced items become the property of Arun Tiles Square (UpInches).

UpInches provides free spare parts warranty for eligible components within the warranty period.
-
If a product or spare part is replaced under warranty, the warranty period will continue from the original date of purchase. The replacement does not renew or extend the original warranty duration.
5. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damages, defects, or malfunctions caused by:

Improper Installation / Misuse

Faulty plumbing, negligence, accidents, dry running, water hammer, use of RO reject water, or exposure to corrosive/contaminated water.

Improper installation, mishandling, exposure to extreme temperatures, harsh chemicals, impact damage, abrasive cleaning agents, or dropping heavy objects on the sink.

Unauthorized Repairs / Modifications
-
Use of non-genuine spare parts, tampering, or alterations by unauthorized service providers.
-
-
Improper Cleaning / Maintenance
-
Use of abrasive pads, steel wool, acids, bleach, ammonia, chlorine, alcohol, or harsh solvents that cause finish deterioration.

Environmental & External Factors
-
Natural disasters, Acts of God, toxic sewage gases, pest infestations, or external damage beyond UpInches’ control.

Normal Wear & Tear
-
Scratches, scaling, rusting, colour variation, fading, discoloration, or deterioration due to environmental exposure and water conditions.

Consumable Components
-
Washers, O-rings, rubbers, aerators, springs, and other consumables are excluded.

Hoses, rubber parts, plastic parts and consumables are not included in the warranty.

In case of defects on such products arising prior to installation, the company will decide

on repair / replacement after the inspection.

Service & Labor Costs
-
Costs for removal, reinstallation, plumbing work, or demonstration services are not covered.

Commercial Misuse
-
Installation in hotels, hostels, offices, public restrooms, or other high-traffic/commercial environments beyond recommended site conditions.

6. Limitation of Liability

UpInches’ liability is strictly limited to repair, replacement, or free spare parts supply of defective components under warranty.

No claims for incidental or consequential damages will be entertained (including but not limited to loss of use, property damage, delays, or additional expenses).

This warranty does not extend beyond the product itself.
-
In case of any delay in the availability of components, neither UpInches nor its authorized service providers or dealers will be held responsible for delays in repairs. No financial claim will be entertained in such cases.

In no event shall the liability of the company exceed the purchase price of the product.
-
This warranty covers manufacturing defects only.
7. Transferability

Warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable to subsequent owners or locations.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
-
Disputes will first be addressed through mediation.
-
If unresolved, disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh, India.
